If the aspiring artist in your preschooler needs an imaginative place to craft and create, visit The Creation Station in the north end city of Lynnwood, where wonderful varieties of recyclable materials become grand works of preschooler art projects. Whether for a preschool field trip, a special birthday party, or for a rainy day drop-in visit, The Creation Station’s awesome selection of yesterday’s recycled clutter makes for today’s cool indoor art projects.
What Preschoolers will Love about The Creation Station
Perfect for a rainy day indoor art activity, craft projects at The Creation Station are completed at your preschooler’s own pace, with no rushing necessary. The Creation Station’s very colorful environment makes it totally okay for your preschooler to be creatively messy. The beauty of crafting with recycled materials is that they will vary from visit to visit! We found such junked oddities as plastic tubing, film canisters, plastic lids, different sized magnets, Styrofoam shapes, bingo daubers, leather scraps, colored tape and more. Also available are more ‘normal’ craft supplies such as paint, glue, paste, crayons, glass beads, clay, foam, glitter, pompoms, rhinestones, stencils, and more!
What Parents will Love about The Creation Station
While your preschooler is creating, look through the buckets, barrels and shelves to pick up some one-of-a kind recycled materials to take home for future indoor art activities. The average store visit for a preschooler lasts about two hours.
Birthday parties in their large studio space are welcomed, too! Call ahead for reservations. Note- The Creation Station uses only non-toxic materials.
The Creation Station is great for play dates that are artsy by nature, so think about bringing your preschooler and their best friend for a rainy afternoon of indoor fun. This innovative store even has a super neat die-cut machine available for use.
