Purple Café Wine and Milk Tasting

Candles, fabulous fine food, soft music, wine tasting… these are the ingredients for a perfect Parent’s Night Out! But wait- how about visiting Purple Café, where the entire family is encouraged to come; where your preschooler can enjoy their very own special wine tasting with different flavors of milk! Why skip an incredible dinner out, when you can include your preschooler!

What Preschoolers will Enjoy about Purple Café

At Purple Café, your preschooler can order and play, as the Kid’s menu comes with fun word puzzles and a pack of free Wikki Stix! Check out the Kid’s Menu choices such as noodles and butter, grilled cheese and yam fries, meatloaf with veggies, cranberry chicken salad and more. Parents will definitely want to sample their preschooler’s food!

While parents are enjoying a “flight” of fine wine or cheese tasting, your preschooler can enjoy their own “flight” of fine milk tasting in flavors of caramel, strawberry, chocolate and white! Purple Café boasts over 400 bottles of different wine that can be paired with your meal.

Purple Café has an uptown, yet very comfortable atmosphere with the intimate feeling of being in a cozy wine cellar. However, your preschooler will cheerfully blend right in, as Purple Cafe has no rules about 'having' to be quiet.

What Parents will Enjoy about Purple Café

Purple Café has three locations in Kirkland, Woodinville and Seattle. Each location serves the milk tasting (called "milk flights”) in the same special wine glasses as the adults, with the same presentation ceremony.

Many local families are considered 'regular' guests at Purple Café. Parents will find the wait staff attentive and very friendly, who go out of their way to accommodate preschoolers. High chairs are available.

At Purple Café, the passion of food is evidenced by the creative menu selections. Your preschooler will want to taste a new non-alcoholic soda called DRY, in lemongrass, rhubarb, lavender or kumquat.

For dinner, parents should try the delicious baked brie with apricot preserves, and then go for the Chicken Marsala, goat cheese pizzas, wild boar selections, or the lobster baked mac and cheese! (see menu) After dinner, the whole family has to try the warm, flourless chocolate cake- an incredible dessert to die for!
