What Your Preschooler Will Love about NW Center Puppet Shows
Every preschooler loves puppets! The shows have many delightfully colored marionettes with costumes, props and sets unique to the performance. Audiences are kept small for more of a close, up-front puppetry experience your preschooler will remember for years to come. What’s Good for Parents to Know about NW Puppet Center
Marionette puppets are unique! They are not at all like the hand puppets your preschooler will already be familiar with. Explain to them ahead of time what they will be seeing (a type of puppet moved by using sticks and strings). NW Center’s puppet shows are great for all ages! Some of the shows are also signed in ASL (1st Sat. of each show). Call for more details.
Celebrate your preschooler’s birthday! NW Puppet Center has an area set aside for play and picnic (good for getting out the “wiggles” before a show!) There is also a birthday party room you can reserve ($75/hour after 3 pm). Let the Staff know beforehand and they will treat your preschooler to a birthday crown right on stage.
