Dig It! Fossil Workshop

Calling all preschool paleontologists and preschool geologists! Dinosaur fossils are waiting for you to excavate! At Dig It! Fossil Workshop, preschoolers can prospect and prepare authentic dinosaur fossils, petrified bones, rocks, shark’s teeth, geodes, shells, fish skeletons, and even dinosaur poop!
What Preschoolers will Love about Dig It!
Is this a dinosaur museum or a dinosaur store?
Dig It! Fossil Workshop is actually an educational store devoted entirely to fossils and dinosaurs! Preschoolers will feel like real scientists at this cleverly laid out store resembling a mini-Disneyland attraction. These fossils are REAL! Many are even 55 million years old and come from all over the world.
Take a fossil-digging adventure to a dinosaur time 100 million years ago!
Your preschooler will have a choice of three quarries to unearth dinosaur fossils at the Excavation Station, prehistoric shark/sea life at Shark Bite Bay, and rocks and minerals at Prospector’s Pit. Look for the purple and green agates, real dinosaur teeth, mammal vertebrae, and petrified sand dollars. Work along side your preschooler through the stations and take home something special your preschooler will never forget.

The educational toy, craft, game, science and book selection is huge! Check out Dig It's Dino-Opoly, Dino-Bingo, Dino-Puzzles, and of course, more dinosaur books than your preschooler has ever seen!

All the smocks, scientific tools, (chisels, brushes, drills) and great educational instructions are provided by the knowledgeable science team of friendly and very patient store employees. Crack open a real crystal geode to see what’s inside, as this is wonderful family hands-on learning at its best!!
Dinosaur birthday parties are dino-mite!
Parties are celebrated at Dig It! in two big birthday rooms, right next to bathrooms. The all-inclusive parties provide the makings for a real shark-tooth necklace or specimen, party bags, party cake and drinks, paper goods and dino-story time. See website for party prices.

There are only three Dig It! stores in the United States. Many of the rare and beautiful pieces are from around the world, and are un-like anything you will ordinarily see.
Visit the indoor dinosaur playground!
Right across from the store, Dig It! has built a free indoor dinosaur playground with educational play equipment amidst brightly colored dinosaur murals.
Dig It! Fossil Workshop is in the Everett Mall.
Plan to spend at least two hours. Dig It! is about a 30 minute trip north of Seattle- but it’s definitely worth the drive! Everett Mall has a new food court that you can stop and grab a bite- but probably no dinosaur food. Does lettuce count?

Dig It! is a lot of fun for even the youngest of preschool prospectors, all the way up to Senior excavators. Don’t be surprised if you have as much fun as your preschooler!
