Dick's is a local landmark for the Seattle area. What makes them special is that they haven't changed in over 52 years. Having the same 50's drive-in diner feel today, as they did in 1954. Providing their customers with great burgers, fries and shakes is what they stand by. You can choose the Queen Anne location, which has tables to sit at, or you can choose from the four other Seattle locations, where you eat in the car. The 45th Street restaurant in Wallingford is the oldest fast food restaurant in Washington State.
Dick's uses fresh, not frozen, meat in their hamburgers, which is delivered daily, along with their fresh, not frozen, buns. They make hand-dipped milkshakes, that are whipped up when ordered, not made in a machine. And you can watch the workers cut the fresh potatoes right there at the location. Making your dining experience not only delicious, but memorable also. They also offer old fashioned hot fudge sundaes, with a variety of ice creams to choose from, and floats too.

Disadvantages of Dick's Drive In Restaurant
No special ordering. At Dick's the Ham comes with 1 beef patty, ketchup and a small amount of mild mustard. The Cheese Burger, comes with 1 beef patty, cheese, ketchup and a small amount of mild mustard. The Special Burger comes with 1 beef patty, lettuce, diced pickle and mayo. And the Deluxe Burger has 2 beef patties, cheese, lettuce, diced pickle and mayo.
Dine in your car. At all locations, except the Queen Anne one, you have to dine in your car.
